CTS Releases Major Upgrade to SmartCAD

CTS America, a public safety industry leader, announced today that a major upgrade to its Computer Aided Dispatch (SmartCAD) product has been released. Two years in the making, SmartCAD V6 represents a significant upgrade, encompassing literally hundreds of new development items.
Law enforcement dispatchers will benefit from new functionality such as integrated ESRI mapping, new quick key commands, the storage and display of images, reverse GEO validation for cross streets and places, the ability to validate telephone numbers, and many more new features.
The new SmartCAD also provides many benefits to Emergency Management personnel. EMS and Fire dispatchers now have interface functionality for APCO MEDS and DocuMED. Dynamic and static run cards, the ability to track mileage recorded for transport, new processes for placing units on transport, numerous reports for EMS and Fire calls, and countless additional EMS/Fire features allow for greater ease of use for EMS and Fire dispatchers.
